The ECOWAS Maritime Zone G comprises Cabo Verde, The Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Mali and Senegal.
The Zone G Multinational Maritime Coordination Centre (MMCC) is hosted by Cabo Verde at Praia.
The West African Regional Maritime Security Centre (CRESMAO) along with the MMCCs in Zones E, F and G and the maritime operational centres (MOCs) of member states make up the regional maritime safety and security architecture established by ECOWAS to effectively tackle illegal acts in West Africa’s maritime space.
