Support to West Africa Integrated Maritime Security (SWAIMS) is a five-year (2019–2024) ECOWAS project funded by the European Union. It is implemented with technical assitance by DAI. 
Objective: improve maritime security and safety in West Africa by:
- strengthening legal, governance and law-enforcement frameworks to better support maritime
security; and,
- improving law-enforcement operational capacities and responses through customised
institutional and technical capacity-building.
This is achieved through collaboration with SWAIMS’ implementing partners who are (in alphabetical order):
